Your Responsibilities and Tasks

You will work as a teacher in practical and theoretical aspects within areas such as:

• Objectives and intent of rescue operations,
• Collaboration with other actors,
• Simulations in various environments

Your tasks will include preparing, conducting, and following up on lessons and exercises, simulations, and training in the above areas. You should, through your knowledge and experience, and with the goals of the education in mind, be able to support and guide students to be able to act in the roles that the training aims for, based on good self-awareness and security.

You will be part of a team and a subject development group where you will develop teaching within your subject area. Your responsibilities as a teacher may include being course responsible, supervisor, class teacher, and participating in development projects.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed the authority's training in Rescue Management A, Strength Leader Course, or other training deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Good familiarity with ELS (a unified management system for municipal rescue services).
• Experience in applying your experiences and knowledge as a teacher.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Pedagogical education and/or experience as a teacher.
• Operational experience in leadership functions within rescue services.
• Rescue Leader B and/or intervention leader course.

About the Employment

We offer you a permanent full-time position that begins with a probationary period.

Your place of employment will be Sandö, and travel is required in the position.
